I actually made myself stay in bed until 8:15 a.m.!
Despite hearing the dog try to attack the paper boy thru the window.
Despite hearing my mother up fussing because she had to do her own glucose test.
Despite hearing a horrendous crash of dishes as Mom turned her easy-over egg into goo on the kitchen floor.
Despite hearing the neighbor revving his truck engine for 20 minutes.
I have now had breakfast, done all of my blog reading, and balanced two checkbooks.
I'm getting ready to go feed and play with Jessica's dogs (Mocha and Buck) since Jessica and Family are in Kentucky at a family reunion. I, also, am planning on torturing my lungs by vacuuming and dusting, since I can't stand the amount of dirt I'm seeing in the sunlight that persists in coming thru the windows. (I did pay for a teen "slave" to come do this for me, but she can't seem to find the time in her busy teenage life to fulfill the obligation. So, much for fund raising honesty!)
Later on today, I have to drive Daniel to Port Columbus so that he can retrieve his family from Upstate New York.
Not a super busy day, but full enough!

And this is your day "off"? Hmmmm.....what am I missing? *grin* I'm so proud of you for staying bed despite the chaos around you! I don't think I could have done it!
Honey child, you need to get you some of those dust filtering masks to wear when you are dusting, etc. they also help when someone nearby is mowing--fresh cut grass always sets my asthma off.
By the way, how are you doing with introducing lower carb stuff into your mama's routine?
Jewel, if you only knew how hard it was to stay in bed!!
Jan, I have problems putting anything over my nose/mouth. I really gave the doctors fits last year when I had to have a couple of surgeries! Mom is doing a little better but she's still having difficulty grasping the theory of what she's eating affecting her glucose levels. I've tried giving her choices of lo-carb foods, but then she sneaks other things when I'm at work.
