1. I can tell that it's high school Homecoming season--I've seen teenagers (and some too old to be teens) with orange and black hair; blue and white hair; purple and white hair; scarlet hair; etc. Not to mention all of the temporary tattoos!
2. I don't ever remember an October with temperatures hovering in the mid-70's in Central Ohio.
3. I am very out of practice at writing letters. My step-sister, Kathy, doesn't have a phone or internet, so it's the only way to stay in contact.
4. I'm really hungry for some good Italian food. Something along the lines of Marconi's. Probably not going to happen anytime soon.
5. I'm getting really bad about procrastinating on chores.
6. I have to set an appointment to take Mom to a funeral home and get a funeral contract written so that her life insurance doesn't prevent her being eligible for Passport. (A home health care program in Ohio.)
7. I have this coming Friday off (vacation day), and Saturday off, that means that I will have a 3-day weekend!!
8. I still am feeling like I want to run away.
9. I've started getting all of my tax info together in preparation for income taxes. (What's up with that??)

Well, I could comment on all of your "thots" but I'll just do a couple. Does your step-sister CHOOSE to not have a phone or the internet? I would die. Not that I use either THAT much, but still, it's nice to know that I CAN if I want to, you know? I would feel so disconnected and isolated.

Rochelle, you just wouldn't believe how long the color is lasting!! And it's beautiful weather to be outdoors!
Jewel, my step-sister and her husband are rolling stones. They are in one house no more than 6 months! So, they have never had a phone--just relied on neighbors and pay phones. And I don't think Kathy would know what to do with a computer, much less internet. I just might call you about the running away! Seriously! ((HUGS))
go run away to Jewel - just make sure you come and see me the 2nd weekend of November like I said :)
