Last night, while Sir Nottaguy-Imadad and David Riley were parking cars at the county fair, Eva and I decided to watch "moobies".
For a 2 yr. old, she's pretty opinionated about what we watch. First, we had to watch "Dwagons" (DragonTails). Then, Eva decided she wanted to watch "pwinsesss". I thought she was talking about the VeggieTales "Sweet Pea Beauty", so we watched it. After it was all over, she put her hand on her hip (No, I didn't get a pic, I was laughing too hard!) and said "NOW, Pwinsessss!"
I truly was lost. Didn't have the first clue what she was talking about. So, I do what all good Grandmothers do--"Show me."
She went running out of the room and came back holding a pull-up. Now, I was really lost! "Do you need a clean pull-up? Or do you have to go potty??"
"Nana! Pwinsessss!" and she starts pointing to Cinderella on her pull-up. The light came on! She had seen the video case and had managed to match the pictures in her memory.
So, we sat and watched the Disney version of Cinderella. She sat for the whole thing!!! She laughed at appropriate times. AND she got angry at the step-mother! "She not nice!" "Mean!" "Don't be mean to Pwinsessss!"
After the "moobie" was over, Eva gave me a big hug and said "Tank you!"
Fun times with an opinionated 2 yr. old.

That little girl is sharp. She knows what she likes in the "moobies" & isn't really happy if you decide to watch something else.
