Eight Random Things About Me

My good friend, Jewel, tagged me for this meme. This was good timing, I needed a diversion!

2. Start with 8 random facts/habits.

My Random Facts:

1. I graduated from high school 2 years early.

2. I learned how to stitch by hand when I was 4 yrs. old. My Granny believed that every grandchild needed to learn how to quilt! You started at 4 with straight seams, by age 6 you should know how to do points and corners without having puckers in them!

3. I went to three different schools my kindergarten year.

4. I went to two different schools my first grade year. (And I started first grade at a different school than I ended kindergarten! Is it any wonder that I HATE to move???)

5. The WonderHusband and I have lived in seven different places since we have been married. (And, Please God!, they will carry me out of this house in a pine box!!)

6. I have always wanted a chocolate standard poodle. (No show cut!!! And I'm not talking about a candy!)

7. I am a true mixed breed: Scotch, Irish, English, Welsh, Cherokee, and Negro! (My grandmother's grandmother was a half-breed slave.)

8. I sang in church for the first time when I was 6. I tried valiantly to sing "I'll Fly Away", but all I could remember were those particular words so I sang them multiple times and then sat down.
