1. Little boy was asked about his first day at school. He said "I have the best teacher! She's not real pretty, but she's really nice!" (He was somewhere between 6 & 8 yrs. old.)
2. College kid and Mom: "What should I do, Mom? If I deposit all of the money, I'll probably want to spend it, BUT if I keep any out, it's guaranteed that I'll spend it!"
3. "Who took $xxx out of our account?? I need to see a copy of that! Oh, I guess that is my signature."
Quote from my desk calendar:
"The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it."
This is soooo true! And if you are looking for some books that you can carry some wonderful stuff away from, I highly suggest The A.D. Chronicles series by Brock and Bodie Thoene. They revisit most of the gospel stories, but they include some of the history and Jewish traditions that we don't often think about.
Nomination:
My friend, Jewel, nominated me for a "Nice Matters Award". I was really, really surprised!
Thank you, Jewel! You are a great friend, and believe me, you encourage me more than you will ever know! I value your friendship and your prayers. ((HUGS))
Now, I'm thinking and reviewing my blog friends to see to whom I can pass this along! In the words of Pooh "Think, think, think!"

LOL! Last week I showed a CC bill to Hubs and demanded, "Did you buy $XXX on book last month? Where is this from?!"
To which he replied, "Nope, that was you."
And he was right.
You are nice! and Nice Matters! :)
I'm not surprised you got that award. Not at all.
