Monday night, Ross (the Wonder Husband), and I managed to finish decorating for Christmas except for the stockings. (We don't have a fireplace, and I've decided that they are not going to hang on the doorway between the LR and DR again this year.)
Tuesday was the Kids' Garden Christmas Program, (this is David Riley's daycare center) and it was soooo cute. Of course, how can you really go wrong with kids doing anything. As one very wise man (aka my pastor, Duane Kramer) says: "When they get it right, they are wonderful! When they get it wrong, they are just downright cute!"

Somewhere towards the end of the kindergarten group's song, David Riley got bored--so he started counting the spotlights that were hanging overhead. But he did do a great job singing and signing. As you can see, he's not afraid of microphones either.
Wednesday started out with doctor appointments for me and Mom. Doc says I'm doing very well, however, he's very concerned about Mom. The Parkinsons has noticeably advanced so he's starting her on medicine to help control the tremors. He's, also, very concerned about her increasing forgetfulness. After the appointments, I had lunch at Kenyon Inn, so that I could have a certain blonde child of mine serve me. (She does an excellent job, even when she's dealing with difficult customers and an extra server who's being obnoxious.) Then I had to do the shopping. (When you only get the one day off, you pack as much into it as possible, right???) I not only had our household shopping to do, but Mom had another list, and Ross wanted me to stop at Lowe's. (We found a solution to our stocking dilema--Stocking Trees! And he needed two 4x4's to make them.) Then I got home, had to put everything away, and start supper, and get ready for church, and set the table, and feed everybody, and , and, and!!!! (I'm quite sure no one else ever has one of those days!) By the time I got to church and sat down, I was all in. I never go to sleep in church, but last night it was a STRUGGLE ***BIG SHEEPISH GRIN***. After church, we had a quick choir practice for the cantata that is Sunday night. We, also, have practice tonight, and tomorrow night. (I love singing, but I am ready for the cantata to be done!) To add to all of it, I have to work until 7 both tonight and tomorrow and until 3 on Saturday. hip hip hooray
I'm not sure what I will be feeling like by the time I get out of work on Saturday, but I'm hearing pillow, fleece blanket and nap!
Here's hoping that your week is not quite so hectic. Have a lovely!!!
