The Wonder Husband

Folks, my Wonder Husband has a bad case of "down in the dumps"! He's normally the most even-tempered, easy-going man you would ever want to be around, but when he hits a low point, he really bottoms out.

I think everything is starting to pile up on him. 1. He's in constant pain from a work injury in April. 2. His company has decided to fight the worker's comp case, but they didn't decide this until the doctor said that he needed surgery on both knees to fix the injuries. 3. He's still grieving over my brother's death; he and Bob were good friends. 4. Liz's pending divorce has him concerned for "his girl" and 5. angry at the man who is causing her grief. 6. And to top everything off, his company has decided to go to 10-hour workdays, so he is just plain exhausted.

I miss the "sick" humor man!!! (Yes, I know I roll my eyes at him alot, but I really do think he's funny!) I miss seeing him down on the floor playing with the grandkids! (It's too painful to get up and down now.)

I'd appreciate it if you would all help me pray for this depression/grief/anger to lift so that he can get through this time.

Thanks everyone and have a wonderful day!!!

I might just be a little like Ross, Theresa. When I'm up, which is most often, I am up, but when I am down, it is almost scraping the bottom, it seems. I will certainly be praying for your "wonder husband". In times like these, we truly must learn to cast all of our cares on the Lord. I've been serving the Lord for 32 years and I'm still learning how to let go and lean on Him. I'll be praying. May you, Ross, your girls and extended family have a blessed Christmas!!
