Back at Home Base!

Yesterday was my first day back at my "normal" job site. They finally finished painting the basement on Thursday, and decided it had aired out enough for me to come back. Boy, was I happy!!!

I am such a "rut" person!!! I love my space, set up the way I want it, and seeing the people that I am used to seeing on a daily basis! I don't do change well, at all. (And, yes, Liz, I heard that "Amen" loud and clear!)

However, it was humorous, to see some of my regular business customers change their routine by coming across town to the branch I was in last week, just so that they could have me do their deposits. "They are used to the way Theresa does things!" was the comment made whenever they were asked to step up to another teller's window.

Another nice note--last night I got home without the foggiest clue what I was going to make for supper. I had almost talked myself into doing some potato soup or something equally fast, when the Wonder Husband says, "How about if I make bacon and cheese omelets??" It did not take me long to start getting out the supplies for him! He does WONDERFUL omelets!!! He, also, brewed cinnamon tea! I tell you, Folks, I was feeling pampered last night!!

And Jessica's husband, Robbie, brought a truck with a plow blade home from work last night. He came over after supper and plowed my driveway!!!! I can actually park more than just my PT and Ross's truck in it now!!! I tell you it was a great day!!!

Well, congratulations on the getting back to normal!! I, too, like my routines, especially after a long weekend or the holidays. I used to wonder why my dear mother didn't like the weekends, and now I am gradually learning as I gradually am getting older. *feeble grin* I love the snow, but poor Ed has had to shovel the drive so much the past few weeks. I've been telling him that he needs to get a blade for the lawn tractor. It sounds like you might have a wonder son-in-law, too? *smile*
