My husband is an e-bay junkie!! Now, I'm not meaning he likes to buy stuff--I mean he has to check.it.out.every.day!!! All anyone has to say is "I've been looking for_____" and his response is "Let me see what I can find on e-bay for you." He doesn't take losing out on "a great buy" at the last minute well, but when he wins an auction----you've never seen such joy and excitement!
He won an auction a few days before V-Day, and was on pins and needles because he wanted to give me the stuff as my present. He kept asking me if I had seen his package yet?? Had I looked at the e-mail about the e-bay win?? Did I want to know what it was before it got here?? The answer to all three questions--NO! I like surprises to be surprises!!!
The package came yesterday. I thought he was going to bust open before I settled down from work enough to pay attention!
He won a box of 11 old videos. Eight of them are Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals --and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE musicals!!! Also, included are "Casablanca", "Phantom of the Opera", and the cartoon version of "Oliver Twist"--all of which I enjoy immensely!!! We had to watch "The King and I" first! "Carrousel" or "Oklahoma" will be next.
Now, the Wonder Husband takes a good bit of grief from his co-workers (and even a few friends from church) because he will sit through a musical with me. Musicals are not especially his favorites, BUT he tells them all that sitting through any movie with me is good with him.
Oh, well, I just had to brag on the WH before I head out to work! Have a great day, Folks!!

Awwwwww....that is so sweet of him!! Ed likes chick flicks. *smile* I remember the first time we watched My Best Friend's Wedding, we both sat there with tears running down our faces. We do have great husbands, hm??? *smile*
Oh, but he doesn't do musicals. *smile* I'm happy with chick flicks.
