Last night, the Wonder Husband and I decided to sit down and watch a movie after supper. It was a very good decision!!!
Daniel and Carolyn had loaned us the dvd of "Facing the Giants". What a great movie!!! It's one of those movies that will become a must-own for us. It has action and football and guys talking to interest the male audience, and it has great family themes and emotions to win the female audience. According to the reviews, the movie was rated PG for thematic reasons, but there is no language, no violence (except football), no sex, no nudity in any form, just a very clean movie!
If you watch it, you will need a tissue or two before the end of the movie!! Even the Wonder Husband's eyes were "watering" !!!

I cried through the whole movie, it seemed. *sigh* It was sooooo good! I was a bit skeptical about watching it because I thought: "How good could a movie be that was made by a church and all? Will it be very professional?" Was I ever pleasantly surprised! It was awesome! And, yes, my wonder husband shed few tears through it, too. *smile* I sure hope you get to feeling better, soon, Theresa. ((HUGS))
I heard it was good, I may have to trek out in the weather to pick it up.
