Catch Up Time

Well, to catch everyone up on my world--

Monday was my first day back to work after the WonderHusband's knee surgery. It was a very good thing! The WonderHusband has been great, but I was about to tear my hair out over another situation! It was VERY GOOD to get back to work and have some space.

The WonderHusband is doing well! Thank you all for your prayers for him. He met with the surgeon Monday, and he said that everything seems to be healing well. He, also, told WH that he could start driving again as soon as he could stop limping! (The WH has now completely given up the walker and cane! He's determined!) Today is the first day of therapy, so it will be interesting to see how he's feeling this evening.

The Lizness is coming for a visit! (Can you see me doing my Happy Dance???) She's planning on staying until Saturday evening, so we will get to have some real time with her! Tonight Liz, Jessica, Mistie and I are going to go pick up the pattern and material for Liz's wedding dress, and just have some girl time. The WonderHusband is going to be a good Papa and keep David Riley. (Or maybe DR will be taking care of Papa!!)

Mistie is bring a DVD of Jane Eyre for me to watch!!! Oh, how I love those old classic books, and BBC does such a wonderful job of bringing them "to life" for the screen!!! So far, I've gotten to watch "Pride and Prejudice" and "Persuasion" thanks to Mistie! I'm so glad that John married someone with such good taste in entertainment!!!

I have to get ready for work. We are having a food day today, so I picked up a fruit tray with dip and that's just about as gourmet as I get!
