The Realities

1.  I have an injured knee that only surgery will relieve.
2.  I have a Worker's Comp. claim that is still only in pending status.
3.  The Human Resources director is stating that there is a light-duty position available for me in another office.
4.  The Worker's Comp. representative is saying that I have to take the light-duty position,
5.  The light-duty position is on the 2nd floor of the main office building, 3 blocks from the nearest handicapped employee parking!!
6.  When this was explained to the doctor, he wrote me off work until Sept. 9, saying that this was totally unacceptable.
7.  I'm slowly, but surely, working my way through my mending pile and am starting to plan some new skirts and dresses.
8.  I've read "Pride and Prejudice", "Sense and Sensibility", and Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians.
