Well, after the earthquake on Tuesday, the rest of the week seemed really normal!
David Riley, Abby, Jonathan, and Hunter all started school on Wednesday. DR came home from school and started vomiting about 5 p.m. Then he started running a fever. So, his 2nd day of school didn't happen until Friday. (The previous week, our church's Junior Youth went on a camping trip. All but two people that were on the trip got violently ill! It doesn't appear to be food poisoning, but there's suspicion that it may have something to do with the algae covered river that they were all playing in and around.)
On Friday, Mrs. Lemon and Pinky made a fast trip up. Splenda had been out of school for several days with strep, so Mr. Lemon kept Splenda and Zesty at home with him. I got to go out to dinner with them, watch Veggie Tales, and snuggle with Pinky. They spent the night, then we all took my Mom out for breakfast before The Lemon-mobile had to head back home.
Yesterday was my husband's family reunion. They had it at one of his cousin's houses this year and I think it was the best one I've attended. It was much more relaxed and you didn't have to go too far to keep track of kids if you had them with you. My mother-in-law sent all of the left over deviled eggs home with me, so I'm going to cut them up and make myself a nice big bowl of egg salad.
This week starts our church's last fund raiser of the year--The Millersport Sweet Corn Festival. Wednesday through Saturday will pretty much be a big blur.
Well, I've got a sinkful of dishes that are not washing themselves and a couple of beds that need made. Have great Monday, Everybody!!!
