Puppy Sitting, Take 2

I'm not sure what happened to my original post from this morning. I went in to add a different picture and we had a power surge and **poof** the whole thing disappeared. So, here we go again...
This is a picture of Buster. He is a Boston Terrier (read that terror) who is 9 months old. He is also a chewing machine extraordinaire!!!!

We (meaning mostly me) are puppy sitting for the newlyweds while they are in Hawaii. Actually, what I am doing is trying to keep up with the chewing machine. He demolishes rawhide chews as if they were paper. He, also, eats paper, tissues, toilet paper (even still on the roll) and anything else he can get his mouth on. So far, the only items on our property that seem to be safe are Sparky and my rose bushes. (They bite back!)

He scratched my mom and then proceeded to see if her fingers were chewable. Buster made Riley mad when he kept picking up the Hot Wheels and sliming them. He destroyed Sparky's bed. (Little pieces of foam rubber everywhere!) He has a fondness for sponges.

We pulled out every dog toy that we own and Buster has layed claim to all of them. (It really doesn't matter, Sparky only plays occasionally.) Nylabones only have a 3 hour life for this dog. Sparky can keep one for months.

While I was typing my original blog, I kept hearing this funny sound. Buster was gnawing on the control pad for my mom's lift chair. I just about had an accident because I laughed so hard when he hit the up button and the chair ejected him. He stood on the floor and barked at the chair for the longest time. (I think he was upset!)

Well, I've got to go and help feed the dogs. (You wouldn't think Buster would be hungry, but he is.)
